| 2011 Winchester Heifer Futurity This Futurity is open to registered and branded Texas Longhorn heifers born in 2009 and 2010. The classes are as follows: Class One: November - December 2010 Class Two: September - October 2010 Class Three: July - August 2010 Class Four: May - June 2010 Class Five: March - April 2010 Class Six: January - February 2010 Class Seven: October - December 2009 Class Eight: July - September 2009 Class Nine: April - June 2009 Class Ten: January - March 2009 Rules: 1. Classes Seven, Eight, Nine, and Ten are open to all registered heifers born in the year 2009. 2. Classes One thru Six are open to all registered heifers born in the year 2010. 3. Each animal will be judged on its own merit, by itself. 4. Five Breeder judges will judge each animal, one high score and one low score will be removed, and each class will have a tie-breaker judge (determined prior to the start of the Futurity). 5. Consignment fee is $100.00 per heifer. Prizes: First Place, in each class, will win an engraved Rifle, plus a cash prize. Second Place -- Prize plus cash Third Place -- Prize plue cash Guaranteed 75% of consignment fee Payback. |
