2009 Winchester Heifer Futurity
This Futurity is open to registered and branded Texas Longhorn
heifers born in 2007 and 2008. The classes are as follows:
Class One: November - December 2008
Class Two: September - October 2008
Class Three: July - August 2008
Class Four: May - June 2008
Class Five: March - April 2008
Class Six: January - February 2008
Class Seven: October - December 2007
Class Eight: July - September 2007
Class Nine: April - June 2007
Class Ten: January - March 2007
Rules: 1. Classes Seven, Eight, Nine, and Ten are open to all
heifers born in the year 2007. 2. Classes One thru Six are open to
all heifers born in the year 2008. 3. Each animal will be judged on
its own merit, by itself. 4. Five Breeder judges will judge each
animal, one high score and one low score will be removed, and
each class will have a tie-breaker judge (determined prior to the
start of the Futurity). 5. Consignment fee is $100.00 per heifer.
Prizes: First Place in each class will win an engraved Rifle,
plus a cash prize.
Second Place--TBA
Third Place--TBA
Guaranteed 75% of consignment fee Payback.
